Keith Peiris, 18
London, Ontario

Keith Peiris believes that ‘tragedy in life doesn’t lie in not reaching your goal. The tragedy lies in having no goals to reach’.

With this in mind, at age 11 Keith Peiris started his own web development company, Cyberteks Design. What started out as a one-man operation has now grown to include 3 full time and 2 part-time employees.

Since its founding in 1999, Keith’s company has attracted many high profile clients across North America. Some of his major customers include the Atlanta Thrashers, McDonalds Restaurants of Canada, Rogers Television, Amtelecom, Siskinds Sports Management and Siskind’s Franchise Law to name a few.

His success has not gone unnoticed. Cyberteks was listed in the “Top 100 IT companies in Canada” by the National Post Business Magazine.

He has represented Canada as one of the 10 under 40 CEO’s of Canada at the APEC Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs Forum and was a member of the Team Canada Trade Mission to China in 2001.

With the demands of his business he is still finds time for his studies and his school

This is one of the guys who started the nanorobotics team I’m on. Pretty intense.

I reference this comic quite frequently. People never get it. Sometimes you just have to see.

When this comic came out I remember thinking it was really really funny for some reason. (Sean probably thought I was going crazy because I kept giggling about it while doing my math homework.)

I still think the hotness rating part is pretty amusing.

One of my favourite things about this room is the view of sunsets
