These posters attracted lots of attention at TEDxUW!

A quote from one of the, if not the very first, vlogbrother videos I saw. I think it was called ‘Why I’m a nerd’ and it featured childhood drawings, trophies and a pink sticker book.
This is a thing I made.
I created all the buckyball formations and photographed them myself. I also improved my Photoshop skills by attempting to separate them from the background/shadows. I used the magic wand, easy select, magnetic laso, circular selection tool, among other things. I also changed the images to black and white, and changed the exposure and gamma correction. Last of all, I created the composition. I printed a couple of these for TEDxUW tomorrow.
I love these pictures my dad took of me and my mom at the beach when we all went looking for cool driftwood to mount my enamelled roadrunner on. I made the DFTBA shirt using sunpaint, paper cutouts, and leaves. There are little stars around the top, and lots of colour everywhere. It’s overall very cheery. My fast growing (NAT) photshop skills allowed us to both have our eyes open 😀 Back when I had more blue in my hair, and yet it is hardly visible.
Another xkcd inspired hobby comic for you! (Photoshop practice for me)
If you want, you can find out about innovation adoption curves here.
Panorama shots are so cool! Adam’s camera does them automatically! We brought him to this lighthouse. I fixed the joins with Photoshop.
😀
Today my boyfriend got me a puppy-sized elephant for our 8 month anniversary.
And then I put it on my head. I think John Green would be proud.
My Photoshop experimentation is going well, Adam took this pic in my dorm room but you can’t tell, can you?!
THIS ELEPHANT IS SO ADORABLE!
So, I’ve been wanting to make this comic for a while, xkcd style, and seeing that I’m learning to use photoshop I thought I’d give it a try. I think it turned out pretty well considering I was using a touchpad to draw. 🙂
