There are a couple types you can get, I get a fairly soft variety that&#8217;s a bit less then a cm thick and fairly rubbery. It&#8217;s similar to a white eraser, but firmer, although I sometimes do make small stamps out of white erasers. You can also buy thiner types, sometimes mounted on wood, but I find those a lot harder to cut\/work with. As for tools, I use a speedball lino cutter. It&#8217;s the same, or very similar to the one found here: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaels.com\/Super-Value-Block-Printing-Starter-Kit\/fa1059,default,pd.html\" target=\"_blank\">http:\/\/www.michaels.com\/Super-Value-Block-Printing-Starter-Kit\/fa1059,default,pd.html<\/a> but you can get them at lots of places.
