EdCom is the supreme authority on everything<\/p>\n<p>2. My navigation skills leave a lot to be desired &#8211; best to use the routes I already know when carrying heavy textbooks.<\/p>\n<p>3. Don&#8217;t forget your keys in the excitement of toast.<\/p>\n<p>4. There are people out there that are perfectly capable of beating me at Set.<\/p>\n<p>5. University aims to teach us patience (by having lines for everything from cotton candy and inflatables (yes, university students love those) to events and the bookstore)<\/p>\n<p>6. Always have a pen.<\/p>\n<p>7. Engineers love drinking songs and raunchy comedy.<\/p>\n<p>8. If you have consecutive classes in a program you really only have to know where the first class is &#8211; you can follow the crowd to the rest.<\/p>\n<p>9. Always have something to do with you (so you don&#8217;t end up twiddling your thumbs while waiting a hour and a half for that girl with the 9th edition chemistry textbook to show up.)<\/p>\n<p>10. Find nice boys who will walk you home.<\/p>\n<p>11. Don&#8217;t get too attached to friends made in frosh week &#8211; but hold on to the ones who are important to you!<\/p>\n<p>12. Let yourself gravitate towards people who you connect with.<\/p>\n<p>13. Buy stuff off campus to save money.<\/p>\n<p>14. Be efficient. Time is precious. (Yeah, yeah, I&#8217;m finally getting this one)<\/p>\n<p>15. Have a back up plan. Especially for backflip phone alarms.<\/p>\n<p>16.
