Yes, as the title implies, this post is dedicated to my dear friend Kamilah and all her awesomeness! When I read her blog post, for a break from studying psychology, I got to thinking about how I was like Miss Kamilah my last year in high school. I was involved in a LOT of things, from the plays (and everything associated with that), to Interact, to Student Council, to\u00a0Student Improvement Committee.\u00a0I remember that it was great when it all begin I thought it was wonderful, but I wasn\u2019t exactly an ace at a little thing called \u201ctime management\u201d and I\u2019m still working on the art of that. But I must say that Miss Kamilah, I commend you for being able to be in all of those rather time consuming sciences, and not completely sink. I was in Biology, and I still passed by the skin of my teeth, but I didn\u2019t try. Mr. Quick hated me for it, I hate me for it. So if you feel overwhelmed, it just means that you\u2019re human, and you can\u2019t do everything. So before you decide to take on more things, remember that you are indeed 17 and are infact entitled to have fun your grad year, and enjoy every minute of it. Leave the stress and sleepless nights for university (something Erik didn\u2019t do in grade 11, and I highly doubt his grad year). So take my advice, if you find that something has to give, don\u2019t let that thing be your school work. And have fun girlie! You are an awesome person, and I have learned so much from you, even though you might not know it. Also meeting you Miss Kamilah was one of the BEST things that could have happend to me and I love you for it!<\/p>\n

So have fun, leave the stressful, sleepless, \u201ci\u2019m so tired, I\u2019m only surviving on coffee\u201d nights for university. Engineering is stressful as it is. You\u2019ll need to conserve your all your energy so that you don\u2019t suffer from a burn out.<\/p>\n
