Spooktacular was so fun this weekend! A whole bunch of us acting students went over to Fort Steele and dressed up for the haunted house. I was a mummy, at the very end of the line. I got to hang out with the mad scientists (Claire was a good one) in the last room, along with Frankenstein (when he hadn’t escaped) and some tortured victims. There was laughter and tears, all right. I was chopped up with a lightsaber 3 times, told I deserved a raise and given a chocolate coin once, growled back at several times, hugged by strangers, played paddy cake with, and ran away from. It was fun to make people jump. I followed some people a little ways away from the haunted house and got them multiple times. I also scared one of my friends by chasing her way down the road. I wore a couple too many layers, and sure had a sore throat afterwards, but it was worth it, we all had a lot o fun<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
