Crazy coincidence that today I read about people cutting and donating their hair in preparation for TFIOS filming, when I totally did the same thing this weekend!

This is at least the third time I’ve grown out my hair with the purpose of cutting it short and donating it for wigs for women battling cancer.

This time my hair wasn’t as long (though it was over 2 years of growth) so I donated 8” inches (some was a bit longer) to Pantene’s Beautiful Lengths Program. For fellow Canadians you can also check out this really list of hair donation programs in Canada and hair preparation info put together by the Canadian Cancer Society.

I hope more people do this! Having a really short hair cut all the sudden ensures all your friends will notice it, maximizing attention AND doing good.
